College of Architecture
The Department of Communication Design and Interiors at Kuwait University offers two academic programs pivotal in shaping our environment. These programs emphasize creating designs that are comfortable, beautiful, sustainable, and beneficial to human life, reflecting the notion that everything within our visual field is a result of deliberate and thoughtful design.
The Visual Communication Design Program equips students to become specialists in visual communication design. This field is dedicated to conveying messages and information in a manner that is both attractive and impactful. It encompasses various mediums, including print, digital, and interactive formats.
On the other hand, the Interior Architecture Program prepares students to specialize in the design of building interiors. This includes both aesthetic and structural rehabilitation of interior spaces, with a focus on their potential for adaptive reuse.
Both programs adhere to international standards and are in the process of undergoing academic accreditation by the National Association of Schools of Art and Design (NASAD), ensuring their alignment with global educational benchmarks.
