Interior architecture is a technical specialization primarily focused on the design and development of a building's interior spaces. This field emphasizes the rehabilitation and structuring of buildings, turning existing structures inside out for functional adaptation. Often a part of sustainable architecture practices, it involves preserving the resources, materials, and the historical, cultural, and social value of existing buildings. Additionally, this specialization addresses construction expansions and methods for preserving historical buildings of all types.
